Stephen Ministries

A.R.C. Ministries started out as Stephen Ministries and its primary focus was on servanthood.  We realised that servanthood in the church was seen as a dirty word as many people wanted to be served and not to serve.  This of course is not what the Bible teaches.  Our work involved preaching and teaching in churches and at conferences on the relevance and importance of being servant hearted.

Lecturing in Bible Colleges 

During the last ten years we have had the privilege of lecturing at Hampstead Bible College, Christ the Redeemer Bible College and Dunamis Bible College.  We have taught on Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma courses right up to Degree courses.  The subjects we have taught in depth on are:  Christian Principles of the Christian Family, Isaiah, The book of Psalms, The Gospel of Matthew, The book of Acts, Spiritual Gifts, Motivational Gifts, The epistles of John, Church Leadership, as well as the book of Exodus at degree level

Alpha

David has had the opportunity to teach and co-lead the Alpha Course at our church.  This involved the writing of in depth notes for the talks and discussions as well as presenting the subjects and facilitating group discussions.  As a result of this it soon became clear that Alpha was not enough and so the formation of the Omega Files began.  These are three books that follow on where Alpha stops and focus on the discipleship of not only new believers but also the discipleship of the church corporately.

Television and Radio

We have been on Revelation TV three times so far and have had the opportunity to possibly present a weekly programme in the future, we will keep you updated as to future developments, a copy of these interviews is to be uploaded in the near future.  There has been the opportunity also to be on Radio Africa and other Christian radio stations where we have had the opportunity to preach, teach and pray for others.

Leading Retreats

We have had the opportunity to lead retreats.  These can be on many different subjects but in all cases it is to the encouraging, edifying and equipping of the saints.
